Tickets are now on sale for the Burry Port Town Band's exciting new arts project for 2010, The Red Lady of Paviland being premiered at the Lyric Theatre, Carmarthen on Thursday April 1st at 7:15pm
Drawn from a cave on the Gower Peninsula, the project finds its inspiration in the 26 000 year old, ochre stained skeleton discovered there by the Reverend William Buckland in the mid 1800's.
A unique and imaginative bi-lingual presentation of Welsh music, history and mythology, the project will feature award winning tenor Robyn Lyn, Royal Harpist Claire Jones, Cor Seingar, Massed Children's Chorus and current Welsh League Brass Band Champions Burry Port Town Band. More>>>
